Only 45 minutes by car and you can reach one of the biggest Croatian islands – Krk. Island is connected to the mainland with a bridge that was, at the time of its construction, the largest concrete bridge in the world. There are numerous things one can do on Krk island, and we will mention just the few of them. Visit Baska to have amazing experience swimming at one of the biggest pebble and sand beaches in the area. Town Vrbnik is famous for its home grown wine Vrbnicka Zlahtina and it is a perfect choice for some wine tasting and light lunch. For those feeling adventurous, we can recommend cycling on well maintained Krk cycling paths, wakeboarding in Punat, or renting buggies in Krk and exploring offbeat tracks. Krk is an island full of activities, historical towns, beautiful beaches and wonderful views.
